Albert Wenger

Partner, Union Square Ventures


Albert Wenger is a partner at Union Square Ventures, a venture capital firm that manages more than $1bn across six funds. Albert was the president of del.icio.us through the company’s sale to Yahoo and an angel investor in Etsy and Tumblr, among others. He previously founded or co-founded several companies, including a management consulting firm and an early hosted data analytics company. Albert graduated from Harvard College in economics and computer science and holds a Ph.D. in Information Technology from MIT.

Vinay Trivedi

Entreprenur, Investor, and Author, How to Speak Tech


Vinay Trivedi is the author of How to Speak Tech, a book that explains the basic technologies and terms of Internet startups for individuals with nontechnical backgrounds. An entrepreneur, investor, and tech enthusiast, Vinay has a background in venture capital and private equity and has worked in product marketing, growth, and analytics at Locu, a venture-backed tech startup acquired by GoDaddy. Prior to Locu, he served as a team member on a TED fellow-led education technology challenge called ‘Future of the Book’ and founded a national non-profit organization called SeniorLink, a youth volunteer agency for teaching seniors about computers and the Internet.

Gillian Morris

Founder & CEO, Hitlist


Gillian Morris is the co-founder and CEO of Hitlist, a mobile app which helps users travel more by delivering personalized, proactive trip recommendations. The app has been featured as a 'Best New App' in the App Store and has been downloaded more than 200,000 times. Investors include the Chairman of Orbitz and the founder of JetBlue. Before entering the start-up world, Gillian worked as a consultant, journalist, and educator in Turkey, China, the Gulf states, and Syria. Her work has appeared in/on the New York Times, CNN, CNBC, TechCrunch, The Next Web, and LifeHacker.
